Forged Body, Union Bonnet Needle Valves
The Hoke 2219 Series severe service needle valves are heavy-duty instrumentation valves specifically engineered for high-temperature and high-pressure applications such as steam and condensate service. These valves feature Grafoil® packing located below the stem threads, isolating the threads from the process media and enabling reliable operation at temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C). A non-rotating 316 stainless steel stem tip minimizes galling and improves long-term sealing performance under severe cycling conditions. The series meets ANSI 900# specifications and is available in 316 stainless steel, Monel®, Hastelloy® C-276, and carbon steel configurations. End connections include Gyrolok®, female NPT, and socket weld styles up to 1” or 25 mm. Typical applications include power generation, hot condensate systems, and other demanding process environments requiring reliable shutoff under extreme conditions.
