Back pressure regulators are specialized valves designed to maintain a set upstream pressure by controlling the flow of liquids or gases through a system. Unlike standard pressure regulators, which stabilize downstream pressure, back pressure regulators protect equipment, optimize process control, and ensure system stability by relieving excess pressure back into the system or venting it safely.
