Bleed Valves
The Hoke 6800 Series gauge valves are heavy-duty isolation valves designed for pressure gauges, transmitters, and instrumentation systems operating under high-pressure conditions. These valves feature a robust bar stock 316 stainless steel body combined with a non-rotating hardened stem tip that minimizes seat galling and ensures reliable metal-to-metal shutoff performance. The packing is positioned below the stem threads to reduce contamination and prevent lubricant washout, contributing to extended service life and smooth operation. Many models are furnished with an integral bleed plug for safe venting and calibration functions. Operating pressures are rated up to 6000 psig (414 bar) depending on temperature and configuration. Typical applications include pressure gauge isolation, instrument protection, calibration systems, hydraulic service, and process instrumentation in demanding industrial environments
