The Malema M-100X is an extremely sensitive adjustable flow switch designed for monitoring very low gas and liquid flows in instrumentation and process control systems. The switch uses a magnetic piston and reed switch arrangement to provide reliable flow indication with low pressure drop and excellent repeatability. An adjustable bypass design allows fine tuning of the switching point across a wide operating range, making the unit suitable for both low-flow and higher-flow applications.

The M-100X Series is specifically engineered for hazardous and industrial environments and is UL recognized, ATEX certified, and IECEx certified for explosion-proof and intrinsically safe applications. Standard construction materials include 316 stainless steel and Hastelloy, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-term reliability in aggressive process environments. Available configurations include SPST and SPDT switching, 1/8" and 1/4" FNPT connections, and multiple piston constructions for compatibility with different media.

Typical applications include gas analyzers, sampling systems, inert gas blanketing, gas chromatographs, atmosphere furnaces, vacuum systems, filter plugging indication, biomedical instrumentation, and industrial fluid monitoring systems. The device is commonly installed on bypass lines to provide accurate auxiliary alarm monitoring of process flow conditions.
