The Malema M-50 Series is a compact fixed set point inline flow switch designed for accurate monitoring of low gas and liquid flow rates in industrial, biomedical, and OEM applications. The switch operates using a free-floating magnetic piston and hermetically sealed reed switch mechanism, allowing reliable flow detection with minimal pressure drop and low hysteresis. Because the switching point is factory preset, the device provides stable and repeatable long-term performance without requiring field adjustment.

The M-50 Series is available in multiple body materials including 316 stainless steel, acrylic, anodized aluminum, brass, PTFE, and polypropylene, allowing compatibility with both corrosive and non-corrosive media. Standard process connections include 1/8" and 1/4" FNPT, with SPST and SPDT electrical switching options available. Typical performance includes set point accuracy within ±10%, repeatability up to ±5%, and flow ranges from approximately 50–5000 SCCM for air and 1–170 mL/min for water.
