The Malema M-61 Series is a fixed set point flow switch designed for monitoring increasing or decreasing flow of corrosive and non-corrosive gases and liquids in high-purity industrial applications. The switch features an all-PFA molded body with a PTFE encapsulated magnetic piston, making it especially suitable for semiconductor, biomedical, and chemical processing environments where aggressive media compatibility is critical. The magnetic piston actuates a hermetically sealed reed switch in response to fluid flow, providing reliable alarm and control signaling with minimal maintenance requirements.

The M-61 Series utilizes a right-angle flow path with 1/4" or 3/8" flare connections and is available in SPST and SPDT electrical configurations. Typical flow ranges are 20–7,600 CCM for water and 300–55,000 SCCM for air, with set point accuracy up to ±10% and repeatability of ±5%. The switch supports customized factory-calibrated set points for precise application requirements.
