Malema Flow Switch Miniature low-flow
Flow Switch Miniature low-flow
The Malema M-701 Series is a fixed set point shuttle-type flow switch designed for reliable and economical monitoring of liquid flow in industrial cooling and water treatment applications. The switch operates using a magnetic shuttle and hermetically sealed reed switch mechanism, providing dependable flow indication with low pressure drop and simple operation. Its shuttle design allows the bonnet and internal shuttle assembly to be removed for maintenance while the housing remains installed in the piping system, significantly simplifying servicing procedures.

The M-701 Series is primarily constructed from polypropylene with stainless steel internal components, providing good chemical resistance and suitability for water-based applications. Standard configurations include 3/4" FNPT connections and SPST or SPDT switching options. The switch supports flow rates approximately from 0.25 to 5 GPM water and operating pressures up to 100 psig depending on temperature. Universal mounting orientation allows flexible installation in various system layouts.

Typical applications include welders, laser cooling systems, heat exchangers, chlorinators, purifiers, heaters, water treatment systems, and general industrial equipment requiring dependable low-cost flow monitoring and alarm functionality.
• Low cost
• Suitable for equipment cooling (welders, lasers, heat exchangers)
